Babies should always sleep alone in a safe sleep environment such as a crib, bassinet or pack and play. Never with any toys, blankets, pillows, siblings, pets, parents or any other item to reduce their risk of sleep-related death.
Babies should always sleep on their backs for every sleep, at night and for naps. Please don’t use any positioning devices designed to keep babies on their backs.
Babies should always sleep in their crib, bassinet or pack and play; never in an adult bed! Be sure your baby’s sleep environment meets current CPSC safety standards.
Keep baby far away from cigarette, marijuana or vape smoke. Maternal smoking and exposure to second-hand smoke puts your baby at a substantially higher risk of SUID.
