About this Event
Attention parents, grandparents, babysitters … anyone who cares for a child from birth upwards: this class is for you!
Join us for a three-hour baby/child safety class taught by Clair Bennett, Certified CPR and Childbirth Instructor!
This interactive and fun class will cover how to properly give CPR per American Heart Association, help a choking infant or young child, severe allergic reactions and how to use an epi-pen, seizures, bleeding, eye injuries and more. The last 35 minutes of class will focus on newborn care including feeding, soothing a fussy baby, swaddling and early baby care. If you are not caring for a newborn, this part of the class is optional.
