The first installment of Shake it Up! was epic. It was an incredible evening filled with iconic, classic cocktails of the midcentury era, amazing company, and questionable period appetizers. It was so much fun we’re going to run it back again!

Join us by raising a cup on April 24th, 2026, to remember Mason Rae and help support all that NISSA and Safe Start does. Mason is the son of our Executive Director, Liz Montgomery, who died from an unsafe sleep accident at five and a half months in April of 2003. Every year amazing coffee stands, soda stands and more come together to raise awareness about the dangers of unsafe sleep, help raise money by donating a portion of their sales to NISSA and Safe Start and most importantly, remembering Mason. So please join us the April 24th are swing by your favorite local business participating in “Mason Mocha” and drink one for Mason and his mom.

Join at our Share Hope Memorial Garden located at 8th and Gilbert in midtown Coeur d’Alene for our 2026 Memorial Butterfly Release. This event, held in partnership with Auburn Crest Hospice, is for everyone to remember their children, whatever age, gone too soon.
Join us at 5:30 for refreshments and remembrance activities. During the event we will release dozes on butterflies grown for this event by the University of Idaho’s entomology department.

Night Under the Stars is one of the Inland Northwest’s premier fundraising galas, bringing our community together for an unforgettable evening in support of local families. Guests will enjoy live music from some of the area’s most talented musicians, a hosted wine bar and beer garden, a plated dinner, live and silent auctions, and much more.
Every dollar raised supports the lifesaving infant and child injury prevention programs of Safe Start and NISSA. Through education, safety resources, and family support services, these programs reach thousands of children and families throughout our community each year.

Run for the Angels 2026
5k Memorial Run/Walk & Family Day
Details
Join us at Riverston Park in beautiful CDA for our 14th annual Run for the Angels 5k. The event opens at 11 AM and features “Memory Lane” where you can send a message to an angel, create a personalized luminary and much more. The remembrance ceremony starts at 1 with the 5k run/walk to follow. If you’d like to have your child included in this year’s ceremony, please call Liz at 208.557.4371.
